Todd Joseph Guidry passed away in his home on Thursday, May 13th, 2021. He was 52 years old. Todd was born to Merlyne and Rufus Guidry on the 4th of July, 1968, in Rayne, La.
Todd lived in Marrero with his wife of 14 years, Terry, and their children. He was an adoring husband, a devoted father and grandfather, a loving son, and he was a great friend. Todd worked as a truck driver for Scariano Brother's, Dales Towing, and Silocaf for many years and he always spent his spare time with family and friends. He especially enjoyed camping and fishing trips and participating in cub scout activities with his boys. Todd always took the time to read as well. He would always find a book or a magazine to sit down with and enjoy. Todd will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Todd is survived by his wife, Terry; his children; Sara Elbon, Jessica Searcy (Randall II), Megan Augustin (David), Matthew Guidry, and Alex Guidry; his grandchildren, McKenzie Hall, Khloe Hall, Tyler Hall Jr, Randall Searcy III, Mia Augustin and Malia Augustin; his parents, Merlyne and Rufus Guidry; and his sisters, Rachelle Guidry and Melanie Foster.
Todd is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Felix Hebert, and his paternal grandparents, Bertrand Guidry and Elita Castille Guidry.
Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Friday, May 21, 2021 at 2pm at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, La 70058. A visitation will begin at 12pm.
