Thomas E. Tierney, Sr. passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by loved ones, on Friday, December 7, 2018 at the age of 78, headed to Glory with Jesus.
Survived by devoted wife, Ruby Billot Tierney. Loving father of Thomas E. Tierney, Jr. and Melanie Tierney Dufrene. Beloved grandfather of Blaine M. Dufrene, Sr. and Dustin J. Dufrene. Great-grandfather of Ian, Hailee, Blaine, Jr., Harley, Damien, Jace and Riley.
Son of the late Mamie Tingstrom Tierney and Michael Tierney, Sr. Brother of Laura Tierney Ruffin and preceded in death by Michael Tierney, Mamie Tierney, Richard Tierney, Sr., James Tierney and Robert Tierney, Sr. He was also survived by other loving relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Graveside Services at Westlawn Memorial Park, 1225 Whitney Avenue in Gretna on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at 1:30pm.
