Thomas Charles Lagreco Cross passed away on April 26, 2022 at his home with his three caring daughters and cats by his side. He was born on January 1, 1936 in New Orleans, LA. Beloved husband of the late Dolores Lemoine Cross. Father of Gail Bruce (Chris), Denise Licciardi (Frank), Theresa Corcoraw (Donny) and Deanna “Mos” Cross. Son of the late Charles Lagreco and Gladys Rodi Cross and X.O. Cross. Brother of Willie Cross (Joyce) and Pat Cross (Desi). Grandfather of Jennifer Reine (Lance), Jessica Held (Jeff), Christopher Bruce (Valerie), Jonathan Bruce and Katherine Corcoraw. Great grandfather of Maddie Reine, Landon Reine, Ellie Bruce, Christian Bruce and Grayson Bruce. Also survived by his fur babies, Snowball, Cinderella, and ma-ma cat. Thomas was a graduate of Holy Cross High School. He worked almost thirty years managing Woolworth and TG&Y stores and later in real estate with his wife. He was a very hard working father and husband and would do anything to provide for his family. His absolute favorite thing in the world was taking care of all his animals (birds, squirrels, raccoons and bees). Also enjoyed watching TV (Jeopardy, Family Feud, World War II movies, Pawn Stars and Pickers). He loved watching LSU and Saints games with his daughter “Mos”. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Friday, April 29, 2022 at 11am. Visitation will be held from 9am until 11am. Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. The family would like to thank Al with OLPS for bringing him communion every Sunday. Also thanks to Rachel with Concerned Care Hospice. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the local SPCA, American Cancer Society and St. Jude.
