Thomas John Cavallo passed away on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at the age of 79 years. Beloved husband of Donna Bonvillain Cavallo. Loving father of Daniel Villafuerte (Chris), Gina Cavallo (Lee Green), Amy Cavallo, and Kelly Cavallo. Stepfather of Tori Weckesser (Charles) and Dara Ditcharo (Bennie). Grandfather of Michael and Matthew Villafuerte, Raelyn Cavallo, Ashley and Cole Fabro, Sean Weston, Kyle and Kamryn Diamond, Devin Weckesser (Anna), Peyton Weckesser, Nicholas and Aiden Templet, and Brennan Ditcharo. Great-grandfather to Harley Rae Stoll. Son of the late Tom Louis Cavallo and Lena Antonina Demiceli Cavallo. Brother of Mary Hebert (late Woodrow), Doris Estopinal (late Oliver), Loretta Weaver (late Noel), Frank Cavallo (late Bernadette), Victor Cavallo (late Pat), and the late Lena Richard (late Lawrence), and the late Rosalie Allemond (late Sidney). Son in law of the late John and Winona Benoit Bonvillain. Tom was a native and lifelong resident of Marrero, LA. He served in the United States Army and was stationed in Turkey. Before returning home he traveled extensively throughout Europe. Tommy spent nearly 50 years working for himself as the owner and operator of Cavallo’s A/C and Heating keeping family, friends, and customers cool in the summer and warm in the winter. One of his greatest joys was raising his children and watching them play sports. He never missed a game. Tom also enjoyed music and singing karaoke with his wife and grandchildren.
