Suzann Shields Millet

Millet, Suzann Shields, passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2020.
She was the beloved mother of Larissa Millet and Nicholas Millet, the Daughter of
the late Rosalie Bordlee Shields and Herbert G. Shields, a Sister of Diana Shields Ford and Cynthia Shields Hebert (Merlin).

Suzann’s family wishes to express their deep appreciation to the staff of Wynhoven Healthcare Center for their excellent care given to Suzann for the past several years and to Dr. Charles Simonson for his many years of caring for Suzann with great compassion and courtesy. The family also thanks The Church of Abundant Life and her sisters in faith, Ena and Vanessa, for their unconditional love and support over the years. She cherished every moment spent with her children. Although MS limited her life experiences, Suzann greeted each day with gratitude and joy. Suzann never met a stranger. She greeted everyone with a smile, and her quick wit and dry humor had you smiling along with her. She was a fighter, and her deep faith and courage gave inspiration to many of those who loved her. Age 70 and a native of Marrero, LA, Suzann was a graduate of Immaculata High School, Class of 1968.

Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend a Memorial service at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Monday, December 14, 2020 at 11AM. Visitation will begin at 9AM until funeral time. Interment to follow at Westlawn Memorial Park in Gretna. All visitors are required to wear their own masks and keep a social distance. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Louisiana National Multiple Sclerosis Society preferred. https://www.nationalmssociety.org
