Stanley James Lasiter passed away on Monday, May 2, 2022 at the age of 66. Beloved husband of Betsy Parker Lasiter for 14 years. Father of Jonathan Lasiter (Kristen), Joshua Lasiter (Jessica), Jonathan Perrin (Lauryn), Elizabeth Perrin Marcel (Dylen) and the late Jessica Nicole Lasiter. Son of Jacqueline Pelas Lasiter and the late John Lasiter, Jr. Brother of Christine Mayeaux (Tuble), Susan Maraist (Jimmy), Terry Meyer (John) and Lyndon Lasiter (Cindy). Grandfather of Madison, Nathaniel, Cameron, Elise, Mikayla, and Joshua, Jr. Grandson of the late Nettie Mathew Lasiter and John Lasiter Sr., Bertha Turlich Pelas and Numa Francis Pelas. He retired from Chevron after 35 years of service, was an avid sportsman, loving to hunt and fish. He was a native of Lafayette, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Visitation at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expwy., Harvey, LA on Sunday, May 8, 2022 from 5pm until 8pm. Interment, Dixie Community Cemetery, 760 Elks Lake Rd, Hattiesburg, MS 39401 on Monday, May 9, 2022 at 11am. Donations in his memory may be made to the Arbor Day Foundation Plant a tree, arborday.org or the Glioblastoma Foundation, www. Glioblastomafoundation.org.
