Sidney P. Yancovich Jr.

Sidney P. Yancovich, Jr. passed away on Monday, July 23, 2018 at the age of 88. Preceded in death by his wife, Joan S. Yancovich, his father, Sidney P. Yancovich, Sr. and his mother, Helen Y. Lataxes. Survived by his children, Stephen Yancovich, Eric Yancovich (Laurie), Peter Yancovich (Melissa), Janice Dwyer (Gregory) and Mary Moore (Keith). Also survived by 12 grandchildren and 9 1/2 great grandchildren. He was a veteran that served on active duty with the United States Air National Guard during the Korean conflict. He retired from the Archdiocese of New Orleans. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Anthony Catholic Church, corner of Burmaster and Franklin streets in Gretna, on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 12 noon. Visitation will be held at the church from 10am until noon. Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
