Sidney Rita Haydel Thibodeaux

Sidney Rita Haydel Thibodeaux went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 21, 2021 at the age of 86. Beloved wife of Michael Thibodeaux for 35 years by second marriage and of Alfred Francis Haydel Jr. by first marriage. Mother of Jeff Haydel (Marlene), Janet Haydel, Gayle Trosclair, and Keith Haydel (Edith). Step-mother of Todd Thibodeaux and Angelle DiGiovanni. Daughter of the late Anna Tortorich Curtis and Dexter Edgar Curtis. Sister of Naida Matrana and the late Douglas Curtis. Also survived by 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was an artist, entrepreneur, business woman and a lifelong resident of the Westbank. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Friday, February 26, 2021 at 1pm. Visitation will be held Friday morning from 11am until 1pm. All those attending are required to wear masks. Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
