Sheila Rhodes Roberts entered into eternal rest on March 6, 2021. Beloved wife of the late John Kernie Roberts, Sr. Mother of Michelle R. Rodriguez (Michael), John K. Roberts, Jr. (Kelly), and Teresa M. Fazzio (Mario). Grandmother of Michael (Danielle), Rachel, Ashlee, Kennedy, Chloe, Jake, Sandi (Brian), Sabrina (Ryan), and Sierra. Great-grandmother of Rose, Waylon, Penelope, Kamryn, Micah, Rowyn, Bennett, and William. Daughter of the late Eddie Rhodes, Jr. and Rachel Foret Rhodes. Sister of Glynn M. Rhodes (Linda), Susan R. Gauthreaux (Elwin), and Eddie Rhodes, III (Leah). Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Age 74 years, a native of Houma, and resident of Metairie, LA. Sheila was an avid gardener, cook, and entertainer. She loved life and lived it to the fullest. She was ready at a moment’s notice with her bag packed. She will always be remembered for her love for everyone and was like a mom or grandmother to all.
Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the funeral service in the chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Friday, March 12, 2021 at 1:30 PM. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Visitation will be held from 11:30 AM until 1:30 PM. Due to COVID-19, masks will be required to enter.
