Sheila Ann (Martinez) Conrad, 83, of Westwego, LA passed away on September 12, 2021. Sheila was born on June 21, 1938. She grew up in Marrero, LA and graduated from West Jefferson High School in 1956. Sheila married Harold Joseph Conrad on May 31, 1958. They moved to Westwego where they raised their 4 children—Rodney Joseph Conrad, Rory Anthony Conrad, Ryan James Conrad, and Rhonda Ann Conrad-Jaufre (formally married to Glenn Michael Jaufre, Jr.). She is survived by 4 grandchildren—Abigail & Andrew Jaufre and Adam & Avery Packnett (father Gilbert Packnett). Sister of Merrill Martinez (Nora), Darryl Martinez (Susan), the late Alden Martinez, and Sharon Matherne (Harris “Nunny”) and many nieces and nephews. Sheila was a devoted New Orleans Saints fan and she loved to bowl. She had a contagious smile that would invite total strangers to strike up a conversation just about anywhere she went. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Mass on November 12, 2021 at 1pm at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expwy, Harvey, LA. A Memorial Visitation will be held from 11am until 1pm. Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park, Gretna, LA. Family and friends may view and sign the online guest book at www.mothefunerals.com .
