Sandra was a beautiful, strong, tenacious woman that loved and cared for her family deeply. She delighted in and found solace in her beautiful gardens. You frequently found her outside with a shovel in her hand and dirt on her clothes caring for her plants. She enjoyed photography and took many lovely photos of her family and the flowers in her garden, with roses being her favorite. She loved to talk and laugh and was also a great listener. She dressed elegantly, kept an immaculate home and enjoyed decorating. Later in life she developed a love for traveling and visited places like Indonesia, Vermont, and Maine with her companion John. She would bring honey, jam and other delicacies home from her travels. Although she suffered from Alzheimer’s disease for nearly 15 years, she never stopped sharing her beautiful smile and her spirit still shined through. She will be dearly missed. May she rest in eternal peace with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
