Ruby Guidry Sellers

Ruby Guidry Sellers passed away peacefully on Friday, November 12, 2021, at the age of 64. Ruby was born on July 3, 1957, in Abbeville, La to Evince and Evia Guidry.
Ruby is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, James (Jim) R. Sellers; her children, Elizabeth Carle (Nicholas), Bethany Perez (late Michael), Marybeth Bernick (Kyle), James Ryan Sellers (Amy), Jonathan Sellers (Olivia Crain), and Joshua Sellers (Duyen ((Jenni)) Phan); her siblings, Jean, Lee, Laura, Lovelace, Florine, Joyce, Virginia, and Eddie; and her grandchildren, Scarlette, Savannah, Adalay, Aubree, Evelynn, Morganne, Luke, and Jordyn. Ruby is also survived by a host of loving nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Ruby is preceded in death by her parents, Evince and Evia Guidry and her siblings, Shirley, Robert, Ruth, and Charlie.
Ruby was a wholehearted homemaker. She lived to take care of and enjoy her children and her grandchildren. Ruby will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd. Marrero, La at 11AM. A visitation will begin at 9am.
