Ruby Marie Roth

Ruby Marie Roth passed away unexpectantly on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at the age of 54. Born on March 20, 1965 at Port Sulphur Hospital, she was a lifelong resident of Plaquemines Parish. Graduated from Port Sulphur High School, she attended college where she earned a degree in both Criminal Justice and Drafting. She then became employed by the Plaquemines Parish Sheriff’s Office through Jiff Hingle’s administration. She then joined the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office where she served for several years. For the last few years, she has been helping her father.
Anyone who knew her knew that she had a kind heart and would help anyone out. She never met a stranger and loved to talk.
She is survived by her parents, Leo Roth, Jr. and June Carolyn Purgley; sister, Greta Roth Frelich (husband, Kevin); niece, Shantelle Frelich Petrovich (husband, Kuzma); three nephews, David Frelich, Jake Frelich and Colby Frelich; great-niece, Mila Petrovich; three great-nephews, Kaden Petrovich, Hunter Frelich and Vedran Petrovich and her partner in life and faithful friend, Jeanette Guillot.
She will be forever missed by her family and many, many friends.
A Memorial Mass will be Celebrated in her memory at a later date.
