Ruby Elliott Bourgeois Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Ruby Bourgeois passed away peacefully at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Humble, Texas on December 4, 2021. She went to be with her Lord at the age of 82. She was born on May 5, 1939. She is preceded in death by her father Charles Elliott, her mother Edith Martinez Elliott, her husband Eddie Bourgeois, her brothers Jerry Elliott, atlas Elliott (Elisabeth Elliot), Gary Elliott, and Stanley Elliott. She’s also preceded in death by her only grandson Tyler Charles Bourgeois. She is survived by her only son Shane Jude Bourgeois and daughter-in-law Sherrie Williams Bourgeois. She’s also survived by her sister-in-law Jeanie Elliott. She is lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members and friends. Mrs. Bourgeois spent many years working in the warranty department of multiple car dealerships in the area. Her greatest joy came from spending time with family and from her many fishing trips. She lived most of her life in the Westwego/Avondale area but had recently moved to the Houston Texas area and was a member of Clearpoint Church. Family and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, Louisiana on Thursday, December 9, 2021 from 9AM until 1PM. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 1PM. Interment will be in Gate of Heaven Mausoleum (Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery), Westwego, Louisiana.
