Ruby Ancar made Heaven her home on Monday, August 16, 2021 at the age of 74. Beloved mother of Gabrielle C. DeColette Mareno (Daniel). Daughter of the late Regina and John Ancar. Sister of Bennie Ancar (Geraldine), Maryann Taylor (Tom) and the late Rosalita Haston (David). Grandmother of Danielson Mareno and Zoe Mareno. Aunt of Donielle, Thomas (Tamika), and Angelique, Jean (Deborah). Great Aunt of Reuben, Dakota, Cameron, Mariah, Balin, Jean, Jaxsen, Mason and Noele. She loved yard work, trawling, and teaching. Best Mother and NanNan ever!!!. She was a lifelong resident of Grand Bayou, LA. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at the River of Life Ministries, 25640 Hwy 23, Port Sulphur, LA, 70083, on Friday, August 20, 2021 at 11am. Visitation will be held at the church from 10:30am until 11am. Interment, Grand Bayou Village Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer a Love Offering made to Danielson and Zoe.
