Rosemary Blanda Arcement passed away on November 7, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Johnny J. Arcement. Mother of Adeline Lundin (Ralph), Rose Mary Roach, Elizabeth Devillier (Bernie), Donna Rae Eckert (Chris), and Anita McCaskey (John). Grandmother of Chad Ortiz, Desiree Ortiz, Krystine Carter, Dale Roach, Dana Ricks, Michelle Butcher, Darren Innerarity, Kevin Milstead, Melanie Cates, Megan McCaskey, James McCaskey, Patrick McCaskey, and Matthew McCaskey. Great-grandmother of Maya Ortiz, Aaron Ortiz, Marcus Hegwood, Jennifer Carter, Kristy Carter, Hannah Roach, Jude Roach, Aubrey Ricks, Sam Ricks, Caroline Butcher, Vivienne Butcher, and baby girl Cates. Great-great-grandmother of Avery Carter.
Daughter of the late Joseph Blanda, Sr. and Mary Grace DeSalvo Blanda. Sister of Joseph Blanda, Jr. and the late Philip, Salvatore “Sam”, Frank, Johnny, and Nicholas “Nick” Blanda, Josephine “Josie” Lisotta, Lena Delaune, Crucifee “Fee” Pontillo, Rosalie “LeeLee” McLaine, and Mary Grace DeSalvo.
Also survived by a host of loving nieces, nephews, and numerous friends. Age 89 years, a native of Marrero, and a resident of Belle Chasse, LA.
Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Belle Chasse, LA on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 11:30 AM. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Visitation will be held at church from 9:30 AM until 11:30 AM mass time.
