Ronald R. Davis, Sr.

Ronald Robert Davis Sr. passed away on August 22, 2021 at the age of 77. He was born on November 13, 1943 to the late Leon R Davis, and Elizabeth A. Simpson Davis in Syracuse, NY. After a long career as a funeral director, Ron enjoyed serving his community with the YMBC of Westwego, La, and Knights of Columbus. He loved family, food, laughter, and music. He was a loving husband, father, uncle, cousin, grandpa, and friend who always enjoyed helping anyone to feel like someone. Ron is survived by his wife, Linda Boyd Davis, children, Ronald "Robbie" Davis, Jr, Leslie Elizabeth Davis, and Brad Leon Davis; granddaughters, Louise Marie Davis, Lilly Ann Davis and a host of family and friends. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Leah Elizabeth Davis. Visitation will be held at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Boulevard, Marrero, LA on Friday, August 27, 2021 from 6pm to 9pm, resuming on Saturday, August 28, 2021 from 9am to 11am.
