Rome Ashlin Kass

Rome Ashlin Kass, 29, of Terrytown, Louisiana, died June 21, 2021. He was born January 7, 1992, son of Mark Kass and the late Lana Lawson Kass; brother of Paris, London and Milan Kass. He also survived by nephews Julian and Jerran Davis, and nieces Sofia and Emma Ramirez, his grandfathers Calvin Kass and Theodore “Ted” Lawson, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives. Rome grew up in Terrytown and was raised by his paternal grandparents Calvin and the late Mamie Kass, whom loved him dearly. Rome loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He loved watching the Saints play on Sundays and always sported his favorite jersey as he cheered them on. Rome had a passion for driving big trucks and was planning to follow his dad and brother into the trucking business. He spent several years working in the oilfields of Texas and enjoyed his time working there. Rome will be sorely missed by his loving family. Family and friends are invited to attend visitation at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Saturday, June 26, 2021, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, funeral mass to begin at 1:00 pm.
