Roberta Ann Carmon

Roberta Ann Carmon was born October 31, 1944, in Tigrett, Tennessee. She passed peacefully on July 9, 2022, at her home in Gretna, LA. Ann worked for many years at the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal where she was employed as a judicial secretary. She was a valued employee. She loved gardening and was very active in her community. She, for many years, was a volunteer at the Gretna Farmers and Art Walk. She worked tirelessly for projects she believed in including the Jefferson Parish Drug Court and the Boys and Girls Club. These organizations will miss her. Ann had many friends who she loved and who loved her dearly. They will always miss her. Ann was the daughter of Charles and Sue McRee Harper and married to Robert Franklin Carmon, all of whom predeceased her. She is survived by her children Karen Johnson, Keith Carmon (Amanda), Kevin Carmon and Kyle Carmon (Joe). Her grandchildren (late) Renee, Clifton, Lydia, Ian, Joshua, David and Michael, and her great grandchildren Alicia and Iyanna. Her sisters Janice Carmon and Linda Lyons (Jack).
