Robert J. Leinhardt, Jr. passed away on Sunday, July 1, 2018 at the age of 73. Beloved husband of the late Kathleen Hopel Leinhardt for 42 years. Loving father of Julie Bourgeois (Paul) and Stephanie Bellow (Clayton). Son of the late Robert J. Leinhardt, Sr. and Tilda Tullier Leinhardt. Brother of Celeste Sisung (Walter) and Grace Roper. Grandpal of Grant and Claire Bourgeois, Camille and Christian Bellow. Also survived by nieces, Robin and Candice and nephews, Richie and Walt. He was a native of Belle Chasse, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA for 50 years. He loved his LSU Tigers, Green Bay Packers, Elvis, fishing and most of all his family and friends. He never met a stranger. An entrepreneur, he had his own Insurance Company, Leinhardt Insurance Agency for 25 years. He was currently employed by Boudreaux Insurance Company. He will be forever remembered and loved by family and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to come celebrate Bob's life in their favorite LSU attire, at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Friday, July 6, 2018 at 11am. Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday morning from 9am until 11am. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and hematology/oncology staff at Ochsner Hospital, Main Campus. In lieu of flowers, donations to Benson Cancer Center is preferred.
