Robert Louis Gautreaux Jr.

Robert Louis Gautreaux, Jr. entered the Eternal Gates of Heaven on Wednesday, April 29, 2020. Beloved husband of Anna Chauvin Gautreaux for 40 years. Father of Michelle P. Mata (Felix) and Daniel Pares. Son of the late Robert Gautreaux, Sr. and Dorothy Castille Gautreaux. Brother of David J. Gautreaux (Donna) and Darrel M. Gautreaux (Susan). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Age 70 years, a native of New Orleans and a resident of Gretna, LA. Robert was a welder pipefitter in the oil field and retired from National Oil Well Varco. Co-workers named him "Bob the Builder". He loved making and building projects around the house. He loved to go fishing and hunting, play pool, watching movies at home and go to the theater. He was an avid Saints and LSU Football Fan. He will be deeply missed.
