Rita Grace Aucoin Mangano

Rita Grace Aucoin Mangano, long time resident of Gretna, entered into eternal rest surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at the age of 90. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 48 years, C.J. Mangano; beloved son, Collie J. Mangano; parents, Alfonse and Anna Aucoin; brother, Claude Aucoin. She is the loving mother of Pam Mangano Babin ( Stanley) and Laurie Mangano Tingstrom (Jimmy) . She is the devoted grandmother of April Harrison (Beau), James Mangano, Kelly Carter (Richie), Robin Arnold (Ryan), Michelle Boudreaux (Jarod) and Nicole Spahr (David). She is the devoted great grandmother of Sloane Harrison, Kirby Harrison, Blake Harrison, Adriana Carter, Emily Carter, K’lynn Boudreaux, Nolan Boudreaux, Olivia Grace Spahr, Lane Arnold and Evan Arnold. She is the loving mother-in- law of Patricia Tullier Mangano. She is the loving sister of Anna Aucoin Gerard and Janice Aucoin Diket. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews other family and friends. Rita’s love for life, her faith in God and her love for her family inspired every person she came in contact with. Her bright smile and warm heart will be forever remembered. She will deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Visitation on Friday, December 8, 2017 beginning at 9:00 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA.
