Richard “Richie” John Dulcich

Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, Richard “Richie” John Dulcich - passed away Thursday, February 18, 2021 at the age of 72, under the care of his loving bride and Heart of Hospice.

Born December 16, 1948 in New Orleans, LA Richie was the son of Vivian Lorenzen Dulcich and Lawrence Nicholas Dulcich, both deceased.

At the age of 21, Richie went to work in marine electronics for Electronic Services Inc.. He retired after 48 years in 2017.

Preceded in death by his brother, Lawrence F. Dulcich, Richie is survived by his wife of 53 years, Deborah “Debbie” Dugas Dulcich; two daughters and sons-in-law, Tanya Dulcich Ericksen and husband Keith Ericksen, first son-in-law and good friend John Celestin, Tiffany Dulcich Wall and husband Benton Wall, five beautiful grandchildren, Zachary, Beverly, Nicholas, Luke and Ruth and uncle to several nieces and nephews.

As a young man, Richie enjoyed canoeing and camping with his family and life-long friends. Fishing with his buddies was his favorite pastime. He always enjoyed sharing his fish stories with others. Later in life, he and Debbie spent a lot of time listening to music and cooking at home together. His side kick, Itzy, always brought a huge smile to his face. He was such a kind and gentle soul and will truly be missed by all of those who knew and loved him.
