Raymond Thomas Black

Raymond Thomas Black (Tommy) age 61 passed peacefully Friday, March 18, 2022, in his home surround by his family. Tommy was a lifetime resident of Plaquemines Parish. The son of Mary Snipes Black and the late Richard Miller Black Jr, the brother of Ronald Dale Black and Sharon Kay Ballay. Beloved father of his three children Cory Jacob Coon, Alisha Cannon Black Arena (Gregg Arena), Cerissa Blanchard-Black (Devin Miller) and Father-in-law of the late Christopher Paul Blanchard. Grandfather of Elijah Henry, Lyric Blanchard, Addison LeJeune and Cory Ritter. Tommy was a commercial fisherman who loved his life spent on the water, residing and working on the bayou of Happy Jack, Louisiana. Funeral Service will be held at Mothe Funeral Home (2100 Westbank Expressway in Harvey, La 70058) on Thursday, March 24, 2022, between the hours of 11:00AM - 1:00PM followed by cemetery service at Saint Patrick's Church in Port Sulphur La.
