Rain Michelle Labauve

On March 7, 2021 the Lord called home one of his strongest Angels on earth, Rain Michelle LaBauve. Rain passed away in her home where she resided with her fiancé, Humberto Gonzalez. Rain was born on August 4, 1992 and was raised in Gretna. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Gladys Hughes, Robert Hughes, Sr. and Louis LaBauve (Survived by Sylvia LaBauve). She was the daughter of Terressa Mendoza and the late Ken Hughes, Sr. She is survived by her four children, Dain, Chanel, Marley and Lil G; her brothers, Jeff, Josh, Ken, Kody and Jules; her sisters, Jade and Gypsie; her Godmother, Julie (Gus); her Aunts, Mary Lou (Troy), Marjie (Kevin); her Uncles, Billy “Uncle A” as well as an abundance of nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends. Rain was pursuing a career in Modeling and on her way to marrying the love of her life, Humberto Gonzalez. Rain was a joy to be around and she never met a stranger because everyone she encountered became family or friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Due to the COVID Pandemic, attendees are limited to 100 persons. Each attendee must wear their face mask for the duration of the Visitation and Funeral Service. Family and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, Louisiana on Monday, March 15, 2021 from 9AM until 11AM.
