Priscilla Roniger Reese entered into eternal rest on August 15, 2021. Beloved wife of the late James “Jim” Ray Reese. Mother of Elizabeth Martin (Rickie), the late Kim Anne Martin, Colleen Panepinto (Rock), Bradley Martin (Chantel), and Michelle Martin. Like a mother to Jim’s children Kenny Perry, Cynthia Hart (Steve), William David Reese, James Reese (Jennifer), and Bobbie Sue Sullivan (Robbie). Grandmother of Steven, Scott, Zachary, Nicholas, Dominic, Sarah, Caroline, William, Tyler, Kira, Cooper, Austin, and Katie. Great-grandmother of Stephen, Malloree, Collin Scott, Colby, Nora, Rowan, Grayson, Eli, and AJ.

Daughter of the late Edwin Roniger and Phyllis Verberne Benson. Half-sister of Donna Gill, Kerry Hunt, and Cindy Roniger. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and her beloved dogs Pappy and Sassy. Age 78 years, a native of Algiers, LA and a resident of Gretna and Mandeville, LA. She dedicated 30 years to teaching English for Jefferson Parish Schools. She helped to raise funds with the Tulane University Greenie Gals and was a member of several garden associations. She will be deeply missed by all. Priscilla was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother with whom God is well pleased.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 1300 Vallette St., Algiers, LA on Monday, August 23, 2021 from 9:30 AM until 11 AM. The Funeral Mass will follow at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church, Algiers, LA at 11:30 AM. Interment McDonoghville Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Due to Covid-19, masks must be worn to attend.
