Phillip A. " Da Crab" Crabtree

Phillip A. “Da Crab” Crabtree, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 12, 2019. He is preceded in death by his parents, Huey P. Crabtree Sr. and RoseMary Kaiser Crabtree; and his father-in-law, James O. Schroder. He is the beloved husband of Suzanne Schroder Crabtree. He is the loving father of Angelica “Angel” Crabtree. He is the cherished brother of Huey P. “Butch” Crabtree Jr. (Claudia), Brian J. Crabtree (Mimi), and Allison Crabtree St. Blanc (William). He is the proud godfather of Jordan St. Blanc and Cory Smith. He is the loving son-in-law of Linda Duvoisin Schroder. He is also survived a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and many friends. He was a retired Operator Firefighter with City of Westwego and a lifetime member of the Westwego Volunteer Fire Company # 1. He was also Past President of the Louisiana Arson and Fire Prevention Association. He was a wonderful and loving husband, father, brother, and friend. “Da Crab” will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
