Paulette Doucet Rivet passed away on Friday, November 20, 2020 at the age of 71. Beloved wife of the late Louis “Tboo” Rivet, Jr. Mother of Michelle Rivet Adams (Timmie), Roy Rivet (Michelle), Dorothy Plaisance (Pookie) and Charles Rivet (Cindy). Daughter of the late Dorothy “Dot” Legendre Doucet and Charles Joseph Doucet, Sr. Sister of Jean Maise, Susan Brown, Richard “Butch” Doucet, Larry Doucet, Paul Doucet, Carl “CoCo” Doucet, Elvin Doucet and the late Grace Williams and Michael Doucet. Also survived by 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and a lifelong resident of Westwego, LA. Relatives and friends of the family, also patrons of the Knights of Columbus Bingo Hall in Westwego, LA are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Friday, November 27, 2020 at 11am. Visitation will be held Friday morning from 9am until 11am. All attending must wear masks. Interment, Holy Savior Cemetery, Lockport, LA.
