Paul Alvin Weaver

Paul Alvin Weaver passed away October 17, 2017. Son of the late Pella Weaver, Sr. and Nona Taylor Weaver. Brother of Patricia Rivers Estey, Janice W. Gervais, Toretta Weaver, and the late Pella Weaver Jr. and Kent Weaver. Also survived by his nephews Dale Rodriguez, Kenneth Bowling, Chance Weaver, and numerous great nieces and nephews.
Age 57 years, a native of New Orleans, and resident of Marrero, LA. He was a tanker man on the river for over 30 years, also worked at the Corner Oyster House.
Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 from 11 AM until 1 PM. A Jazz Funeral Procession through the French Quarter will follow at 1:30 PM beginning and ending at Paul’s family restaurant, the Corner Oyster House, 500 St. Peter St. at Decatur St., New Orleans, LA.
