Paul J. "Tiny" Hebert

Paul J. “Tiny” Hebert passed away peacefully on December 12, 2017 at the age of 89 years. Beloved husband of Theresa Maggio Hebert. Father of Paul Hebert Jr. (Mary), Gerard Hebert (Yvonne) and Ann Ruiz (Ronald). Grandfather of Ronald Ruiz, Christopher Ruiz, Ashley Gettle, Laura Warren, Shannon Hebert and Paul Hebert III. Great-grandfather of Isabella, Beau, Jayden, Amelia, Ryan, Alyssa, Carson and Hailey. Brother of the late Francis and Vernon Hebert and Ada Brandt. Son of the late Felix and Lucy Daze Hebert. Also survived by loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Paul served his country in the U.S. Navy, retired from Dixie Brewery and later retired as a Maintenance Engineer for the City of New Orleans. He was a member of the Santa Maria Council No. 1724 Knights of Columbus, the Very Rev. T.J. Larkin Assembly 4th Degree Knights of Columbus and the Algiers Sunshine Club.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Our Lady of Wisdom Health Care Center and Notre Dame Hospice for their care and compassion.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church, 400 Verret Street in Algiers on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 from 9 AM to 11 AM. A Funeral Mass will follow. Interment St. Mary Cemetery in Algiers.
