Patsy Swilley Michel

Patsy S. Michel, age 81 and native of Marrero, LA, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday, April 27, 2021. Loving wife of the late Kelly J. Michel, Sr. Mother of Karen Boudoin (the late Elphage), Katherine M. Hunt (Daniel), and Kelly J. Michel Jr. Companion for many years to Frank Cavallo, Sr. Grandmother of Eric Hunt (Chawntel), Kari Hunt Dardar (Joey), Chelsey D. Hunt (Bruce Smith Sr.), and Melissa Boudoin. Great grandmother of Jace Hunt, Bruce Smith Jr., Brenton Smith, and Luke Dardar. Patsy was born on December 6, 1939 to the late Dewey Swilley and the late Minnie Mae Swilley. Sister of Sherlyn Hickman of Port Naches, TX, Vicky Brooks of Merryville, LA, Lillie Craft of Deridder, LA, Ronald “Ronnie” Swilley of Ashdown, AR, the late Betty Cooley, the late Charles Swilley, the late Donald Swilley, and the late Ricky Swilley. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She resided in Covington, LA for many years, and the family would like to thank the staff of Forest Manor Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Home in Covington, LA for their amazing support and care for Patsy during her stay. Friends and family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, May 3, 2021 at 11AM at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 LAPALCO BLVD., in Marrero. Visitation will begin at 9AM.
