Patricia "Pat" Provetere

Patricia “Pat” Provetere passed away peacefully on July 17, 2022 at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late Louis Vincent Provetere. Loving mother of Donna Carollo (Nicky), Linda Carollo (Benny), and Terry Williamson (John Spencer). Step-mother of Darlene White, Melinda Sumera, and Louise Cook. Sister of Max Alford, Wayne Alford, Barbara Champagne, the late Don Aucoin, James “Ray” Beeson, Bernice Plaisance, Sylvia Alford, Jessie Alford, and Shirley Alford. Grandmother of Nicky, Warren, James, Benny, Bobby, Laura, Dominick, Serena, and Jessica. “Mumsie” to Sammi, and Prestley, Matthew, Luke and Alyssa and also survived by many loving great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many, many friends.

Pat worked as a caregiver in daycare settings and for many family members and friends. At one time, she owned and operated 5 United Cabs. She loved her family and friends and was a “mom” to so many. She will be sadly missed.

A visitation will be held at Mothe Funeral Home, 1300 Vallette Street, Algiers, LA on Friday, July 22, 2022 from 10am to 1:30pm. Services will follow. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park, Gretna, LA.
