Oscar Orrego, Sr. entered into eternal rest on Friday, August 26, 2022 at the age of 84. Beloved husband of 48 years to Olga S. Orrego. Loving father of Jennifer Amaya (Armando) and Oscar Orrego, Jr. Son of the late Juan C. Orrego and Mercedes Lopez Orrego. Beloved brother of Jaime Orrego, Leonel Orrego, Fabio Orrego, Jose de Jesus Orrego, Fransisca Orrego, Lucero Orrego, Fabiola Orrego and the late Juan Orrego, Gustavo Orrego, Fernando Orrego, Aurora Orrego, Libia Orrego and Amada Orrego. Grandfather of Karla Orrego, Armando Amaya IV, Emily Amaya, Madison Amaya, Sasha Orrego and Gabriel Orrego. Great Grandfather of Karmen Clements. Oscar is survived by 22 nieces and 13 nephews. He is preceded in death by 2 nieces and 6 nephews. He was born in Medellin Colombia, South America and was a resident of Marrero, Louisiana. He was employed for 30 years with Wilco Marsh Buggies. He was also a Parishioner at Visitation of Our Lady Catholic Church. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, Louisiana on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 from 9AM until 11AM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11AM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, Louisiana.
