Nieves E. Hernandez Diaz

Nieves E. Hernandez Diaz, entered into eternity peacefully on Friday, March 22, 2019 at the age of 82. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Nelson M. Diaz; and her parents, Jose Manuel Hernandez and Maria De La Caridad Hernandez. She is the loving mother of Nancy Duke (Richard), Nixon Diaz (Irma), Nodalia Rodriguez (Aldo), Noraida Diaz, and Niurka Kirby (Jim). She is the devoted grandmother of James Grijalva, Jr. (Crystal), Jay Grijalva, Natalie Duke, Talia Diaz, Erica Serrano, Eric Serrano (Stephanie), Jessica Serrano, Nicolas Rodriguez, Christina Agliata, and Candice Agliata. She is the loving great - grandmother of Tanner, Jaden, Maya, Jaxon, Jaley, Jasek, Ariana, Romalice, Channing, Carla, Esperanza, Evangeline, and Elias. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Visitation on Monday, March 25, 2019 beginning at 11:00 AM followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 PM at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA. Interment at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
