Nicholas Michael Gisclair

Nicholas Michael Gisclair passed away suddenly on November 12, 2020 at the age of 35. Beloved father of Nicholas K. Gisclair and Audri G. Gisclair. Son of Penny Watson Foster and the late Gary J. Gisclair, Sr. Step-son of Gary W. Foster. Brother of Gary J. Gisclair, Christopher R. Gisclair and Amanda E. Foster. Grandson of the late Richard L. Watson, Linda A. Lege, Nolan Gisclair, Sr. and Helen Gisclair. He is also survived by his friend and business partner, Seth Robinson along with three nieces, one nephew, aunts, uncles and cousins, all who will miss him dearly.

Nicholas was born on July 9, 1985 in Gretna, LA and was the proud owner of Septics-R-Us where he lived in Durham, NC. He was a talented and accomplished MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) fighter who studied Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu / kickboxing. Known as the “Ragin’ Cajun”, he earned a VCC-Bantamweight Championship title.

His love for animals inspired him to make Gracie Stables for his daughter with horses, goats, chickens, and ducks so they could make wonderful memories together. His love for anyone in need was a life’s goal. He has been quoted to say, “It’s a proven fact that generosity makes you a happier person”. While his passing is sorrowful, his life and legacy will be celebrated.

Visitation will be held at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Saturday, December 5, 2020 from 11:30am to 1:30pm. Services will follow. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park, 1225 Whitney Avenue, Terrytown, LA.
