Nayfe Sawaya Haydel

Nayfe Sawaya Haydel, age 81, a resident of Terrytown, LA found eternal peace on August 4, 2022. She is preceded in death by her mother, Sarah Farris Sawaya, her father, Sliman David Sawaya, her husband of 22 years, Rudolph Jude Haydel and granddaughter, Avery Elaine Haydel. She is survived by her children, Roxanne Haydel Montgomery (David), Mark Joseph Haydel (Christie), Christopher Michael Haydel (Patricia) and grandchildren Alexis Montgomery Vienne (Taylor), Samuel Montgomery, Cole Haydel, Cameron Haydel and Mason Haydel. She is also survived by several siblings and a host of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Haydel was a loving homemaker and was a devout Catholic parishioner of Christ the King Church in Terrytown where she often volunteered at the school. Special thanks to the Our Lady of Wisdom staff for their loving care of Mrs. Haydel over the last several years. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Memorial Graveside Serviced at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at 10 AM. Mothe Funeral Homes handled arrangements.
