Naseem Anthony Haik Jr.

Naseem Anthony Haik, Jr. entered into eternal rest on June 7, 2022. Beloved husband of Cheryl LeBlanc Haik for 43 years. Father of Jessica Haik Barakat (Steve) and the late Nathan P. Haik (Angelle). Grandfather of Zain Barakat. Son of the late Herta Keiper Haik and Naseem Haik, Sr. Brother of David Haik, Myrna Monteville, and the late Michael Haik, Julie Snyder, and Chris Haik. Nephew of Vernon Haik, Sr. Also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends. Age 67 years, a native of Vacherie and resident of Luling, LA. Naseem graduated from West Jefferson High School and attended Delgado Community College. He spent his career with Cornerstone Chemical until retirement.
Naseem was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. He never met a stranger and loved to make others smile. Always willing to lend a helping hand, Naseem was known by most to be truly selfless. His family was the most important part of his life. He worked tirelessly to ensure that they never went without. Telling stories about his time working at Cornerstone Chemical was one of his favorite things to do. He had many memories with work buddies that, to him, never got old. He was very proud of his Lebanese and German heritage and loved scrolling through lineage websites gathering information on his family line. "There are some who bring a light so great to the world, that even after they have gone, the light remains."
Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Memorial Service at Hope Church St. Charles, 12628 River Rd., Destrehan, LA on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 11 AM.
