Nancy Fortmayer Underdown

Nancy Fortmayer Underdown passed away on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at the age of 72. Beloved wife of Keith D. Underdown, Sr. for 52 years. Mother of Keith D. Underdown, Jr. (Stephanie). Daughter of the late Albert and Virgie Fortmayer. Sister of Jacquelyn Relayson, and Randall J. Fortmayer. Grandmother of Keith D. Underdown, III, Zoey E. Underdown, and Dale R. Koenig. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends. She retired from the Metropolitan Developmental Center after 30 years of service. She enjoyed going to the casinos and cooking for her family. She was a lifelong resident of Gretna and Algiers. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expwy., Harvey, LA on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at 1pm. Visitation will be held on Thursday morning from 11am until 1pm. All attendees must wear masks. Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
