Myron Joseph Berthelot

Myron Joseph Berthelot, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, June 12, 2020, at the age of 66. He is preceded in death by his father, Clement E. Berthelot. He is the loving father of Angie Berthelot McDonald (Samuel “Tood”), and Greg Berthelot. He is the devoted grandfather of Kristen Helmer, Brooke Helmer, Taylor Carmadelle, and Jade Berthelot. He is the loving great grandfather of Kaidence, Tayzleigh, Tayzden, Mayzden, Kaileigh, Myleigh, and Kennedy. He is the loving son of Pearl Mary Plaisance Berthelot. He is the cherished brother of Sheena Berthelot, Clement A. “Sonny” Berthelot, Lydia Hunter, Rebecca Berthelot, and Gerard Berthelot Sr. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends. A lifetime boat captain and commercial fisherman, he was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting. A devout Catholic, and member of the Knights of Columbus council # 7350, he was a compassionate and generous man whose passion was spending time with his loving family. A wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. A Visitation is to be held on Friday, June 19, 2020 beginning at 10:00 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 12 noon all at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 2653 Jean Lafitte Blvd., Lafitte, LA. Interment Restlawn Park Cemetery, Avondale, LA. Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd, Marrero, LA in charge of arrangements.
