Mitchell James Curole, a native of Houma, La, passed away on November 25, 2021. He was born to Harrison and Beverly Curole on July 3, 1968. He was child number 4 out of eight siblings.
Mitchell grew up in a loving home in Algiers, LA. Graduated from O. Perry Walker High School-1986 and attended Louisiana State University-LSU. He was an overly, enthusiastic LSU Tiger Fan. Mitchell was the owner of Preaux Construction, LLC, he renovated and restored several historic New Orleans homes as well as new construction throughout the Metro Area. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and relaxing on the beautiful white sandy beaches. Mitchell loved spending time with his nieces and nephews and was the jokester in the family as well as the family pastry chef, Mitchell’s Crème Brule was the BEST Holiday Treat, his recipe was a Top Secret.
Mitchell is survived by his mother, Beverly Curole; his brothers, Chris Curole (Sharon), Richard Curole (Lori), Andrew Curole (Aimee), Douglas Curole and Clayton Curole; his sister, Rebecca Suire (Ronnie); nieces and nephews, Danny Regan, Jason Regan, Shawn Curole (Anna), Maddie Ray Curole (God Child), Jolie Suire, Tucker Suire, and Addison Suire. Mitchell is also survived by his dearest friends, Patrick Duffy, Cory and Chira Litolff, Juliette Hefler, and Robert Claypool.
Mitchell is preceded in death by his father, Harrison Curole; his brother, Charles Curole; grandparents Andrew and Mercedes Curole (Father side) and Alvin and Julie Navarre (Mother side).
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral Mass on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, La at 7pm in the evening. The visitation will begin at 5pm.
