Minna Carol Fisher Lucas

Minna Carol "2-ma" Lucas, 95, passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2022. She was from Fenton, LA and graduated from Baptist School of Nursing in New Orleans before moving to Port Sulphur where she resided until Hurricane Katrina. She was proud to say she had visited all 50 states and traveled much of the world.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Ernest S. Lucas, Sr., their son, Samuel, and son-in-law, Michael. She is survived by her children, Charles Lucas (Teri), Karen Barnhart, Mary Weaver (Mark), and Ernest Lucas (Debra), along with her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. No services are planned at this time.
The family requests donations be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital. Mothe Funeral Homes, LLC in charge of arrangements. Relatives and friends of the family may sign the online guestbook by visiting www.mothefunerals.com .
