Mickey Joseph Bruce Sr.

Mickey Joseph Bruce Sr. passed away peacefully on July 9, 2018 at the age of 60 years. Beloved father of Mickey Bruce Jr. (Angelia), Joshua Bruce, Sarah McDonald (Charles) and the late Jonathan Bruce. Grandfather of Mercedes, Marissa, Dylan, Lil’ Jonathan, Kaleb, Aaliyah and Ariana. Brother of Wayne Bruce, Mary Dallas Murphy, Rose Demers, Billy Bruce, Sandra Fourreaux, the late Walter Bruce and Sylvia Lopez. Son of the late Lolita Rivet Bruce and Joseph Bruce. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mickey was a longtime resident of Marrero, LA. He graduated from Delgado College, specializing in HVAC training and later owned and operated AC Doctor. Mickey was an avid Harley motorcycle owner and enjoyed riding. He was a very spiritual man and attended First Pentecostal Church of Marrero.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Saturday, July 14, 2018 from 9am to 11am. Services will follow in the funeral home chapel. Interment Restlawn Park Cemetery.
