Michael Gerald Minnich

Michael Gerald Minnich entered into eternal rest on June 10, 2022. Beloved father of Laura M. Spurgeon (Jed) and Mikhael “Gabe” Minnich (Ashley). Grandfather of Peyton and Skyler. Son of Betty Jean Nutter Minnich and Robert Allen Minnich. Brother of Barry Minnich (Ann) and Sue Madere (Black). Former husband of Pamela Ortis. Also survived by nieces, a nephew, cousins and friends. Age 75 years, a native of Charleston, WV, raised in St. Albans, WV, and resident of Luling, LA. Michael graduated from St. Albans High School in 1965 and was a writer for the school sports paper. He worked at NASA at Cape Canaveral for a few years, and then moved to Luling to spend his career with Union Carbide until retirement. He had a passion for photography, and was an LSU Louisiana Master Gardener teaching classes for many years.
Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Memorial Service in the Parlor of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy, Harvey, LA on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at 11:30 AM. Memorial Visitation will be held from 10:30 AM until Service time at 11:30, and resume after until 1 PM.
