Michael Paul Blanchard, Sr. passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at the age of 61. Beloved husband of Tanya Keller Blanchard for 42 years. Father of Michelle Woodard (Dyron) and Michael Paul Blanchard, Jr. Son of the late Marcella and Russell Blanchard. Brother of Russell Blanchard, Roland Blanchard (Brenda), Betty Dufrene, Geraldine Walker, and Brenda Gail Blanchard and the late Ronnie Blanchard. Grandfather of Justin and Dylan Santiny. Also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He loved riding his motorcycle and listening to the oldies but goodies music. He was a native of Gretna, LA and a resident of Westwego, LA for the past 40 years. Relatives and friends of the family, also employees of Jefferson Parish are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Monday, February 26, 2018 at 11am.
