Melvin J. Breaux

Melvin J. Breaux passsed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of Anna Lee Tardiff Breaux for 70 years. Mother of Merrill Breaux of Allen, Texas and Barry Breaux. Son of the late Eli Braud and Myrtle Ficklin Braud. Brother of Irvin Braud, Sr. and the late Dalton Breaux and Elva Breaux Williams. Also survived by 7 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and his special pet, Tigger. He retired from Halliburton after 41 years of service as Superintendent of the Tool Department. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict and was a member of American Legion Post 64 and VFW Post 3121. He was an avid fisherman and loved the Tulane Green Wave. Family and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expwy., Harvey, LA on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 11am. Visitation will be held on Friday evening from 6pm until 10pm and again on Saturday morning from 9am until 11am. Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
