Melodie L. Martinez passed away on Friday, June 28, 2019 at the age of 38. Beloved daughter of Sherrie M. Martinez and the late Edwin Martinez Sr. Beloved sister of Edwin "Eddie" Martinez, Jr. Granddaughter of Winnie P. Breaux and the late Daniel Melford, Sr., Gillis "Beagle" and Dorothy Mudgett Martinez. Also survived by loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. Melodie loved life, her family and everyone she came in contact with. She was a native of Westwego, LA and Lafitte, LA and a resident of Kentwood, LA for the last 13 years. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend and share personal memories of Melodie at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at 3pm.
