Marylis Dominiack Chuter

Marylis Dominiack Chuter passed away on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Philip J. Chuter for 64 years. Mother of Michael Joseph Chuter, Sr. (the late Susan Chuter), Pamela Chuter Johns (Ernie), and Joseph Philip Chuter (Kathy). Daughter of the late Mary Pekarek Dominiack and Michael Joseph Dominiack. Sister of the late James Dominiack, Alice Strege, Walter Dominiack, John Dominiack, Michael Dominiack, Jr., Ralph Dominiack, Donald Dominiack, Kenneth Dominiack, Betty and Mary Dominiack. Grandmother of Brad Gonzales (Laura), Kyla Johns, Jennifer Marshall (Jamie), Michael Chuter, Jr., Justin Chuter (Fallyn) and the late Ryan Gonzales. Great grandmother of Joelle, Jacie, Jaxon, Camden, Tatum, Tennyson, Aubrey and Brooke. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She worked for Southern Bell Telephone Company and enjoyed being a member of a square dancing club. Marylis was a loving mother and a remarkable cook. She enjoyed preparing meals for her family, especially over the holidays. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expwy, Harvey, LA on Monday, March 8, 2021 at 1pm. Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday morning from 11am until 1pm. Everyone attending must wear face coverings. The family would like to thank Park Place Nursing Home and staff for taking such wonderful care of Marylis during her 2 year stay at their facility.
