Mary Nelle Mason Sullivan

Mary Nelle Mason Sullivan passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late John F. Sullivan. Mother of Kay Elizabeth Sullivan Swadener (Kristi) and Michael Patrick Sullivan. Daughter of the late Lillie Mae McNeill Mason and W.P. Mason. Sister of the late Sara M. Chauvin, John L. Mason and Mac R. Mason. Grandmother of Michael John Swadener (Rachel). Great grandmother of Montgomery “Monty” James Swadener. Also survived by nieces, nephews and her beloved cat, Zia. She was the longtime secretary at O. Perry Walker High School, a member of N.O.R.T.A. and a volunteer for S.T.A.I.R. She was a native of Vivian, LA and a longtime resident of Algiers, LA. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Mothe Funeral Home, 1300 Vallette St. Algiers, LA on Friday, December 10, 2021 at 11am.
