Mary Chaisson Jones

Mary Chaisson Jones age 80, of Gretna, passed away on 4th of June 2020 at her home. Visitation will be 9am until 11am followed by a Catholic Mass on Saturday the 13th of June 2020 at Mothe’s Funeral home, 2100 Westbank Expwy, Harvey, La. Mary was born in Thibodeaux, La to Anatole and Jeanne Chaisson on 7th of June 1939. She married William “Bill” Jones on the 3rd of May 1967 in Gretna, La. She was a home maker and loving mother. Mary is preceded in death by her husband Bill Jones, her parents Anatole and Jeanne Chaisson, her brothers Joseph, Ivy, Lawrence, Carol and her sisters Marie and Elizabeth. Mary is survived by her daughter Jeanne Coble (Mark) and her daughter Rose Schneider (Brett), her brother Emile, Anatole Jr “Buddy”, Johnny (Phyllis) and James (Violet), her Grandchildren Orey, Brittanie, Haley and Blade and great-Grandchildren Jaden, Layla and Lincoln, Great-niece Lena and great nephews Tristan and Carter along with her always faithful companion Pinto Bean Schneider.
