Mary "Ginger" Virginia Donner

Mary Virginia Donner, who we all knew and loved as “Ginger”, gained her angel wings on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 and is now reunited with her father, mother and dear sister. Daughter of the late Helen Mae Dugas Donner and Charles J. Donner. Sister of the late Elaine Louise Donner whom she adored. Sister in law of Chuck Lane.
Ginger was born in the month of November in New Orleans, LA where she embraced its diverse culture, soulful music, wonderful food, and many cherished friendships. She spent decades working for Dr. Edward Donaldson in which many of her work relationships became family. She had a huge appreciation for reading, creative writing, politics and found great joy in sharing deep conversations and friendly debates with her loved ones. Ginger shared her selfless love and kindness as she touched many hearts with her contagious laughter and always a warm smile. She left behind her two fur babies, Allie and Desi who have found shelter with a loving group, “Once Upon A Tail”. A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 11:30 am.
